About Temporary Municipal Judges Dick Ginkowski and Michael Easton

In December 2025, Honorables Dick Ginkowski and Michael Easton were appointed the temporary municipal judges over the consolidated Municipal Courts of the Village and Town of Somers. Judge Ginkowski currently serves as the judge for the Village of Pleasant Prairie Municipal Court, and Judge Easton over the City of Kenosha Municipal Court.

The Village/Town is Accepting Applications from Residents to Serve as the Municipal Judge

The Village/Town of Somers is accepting applications from eligible residents to temporarily fill the Municipal Judge’s position. The term is through April 30, 2027.

Currently, the position is temporarily filled by non-residents. The position remains open to residents who are licensed to practice law in Wisconsin. At the end of the term, the Village will hold an election to select the judge.
