The Red Oak Ridge Energy Center is a proposed project to build a 1,210 MW gas turbine power plant in Kenosha County.

Their preferred site is on lands that are currently in the Town of Paris, within the Village of Somers and City of Kenosha growth areas, just south of the Flint 94 Commerce Center. If the project is approved by the State Public Service Commission (PSC), then those lands would be transferred into the village or city as per a 2017 intergovernmental agreement.
