The Somers Fire & Rescue Association will hold its annual Breakfast with Santa on Saturday Dec. 12, 2026.

The event will be from 9 a.m. to noon. Pancakes, sausage, fruit, donuts, juice, milk and coffee will be served in the auditorium of the Somers Village/Town Hall, 7511 12th St.

Parents with children, bring your camera, Santa will be available for photos.

Cost for the breakfast is $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and children 5 to 12. Children under 5 eat for free.

Breakfast will be prepared and served by members of the Somers Fire & Rescue Department and Somers Explorers Post #463.

The event is a fundraiser for the Somers Fire & Rescue Association’s Pre-Hospital EMS Blood Program.

In September, the Somers Fire & Rescue Department has entered into an agreement with the Froedtert hospital system to access their blood bank so it can be carried on the two front line ambulances. Studies have shown that administering blood to patients sooner leads to better outcomes.

The Somers Fire Rescue Association and Somers IAFF Local 4831 have donated $15,000 for the initial equipment purchase. Funds are being raised to support the program.
