Last year, Strand Associates, Inc, commenced work on a flood study for the Village/Town of Somers. The Study included review of reported stormwater issues on residential and private properties, and other flood prone areas known to the Village.
Strand hosted several public meetings, and conducted topographic survey of relevant areas, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, reviewed alternatives with staff and elected officials, and completed a flood analysis report.
The report will be presented to the Storm Water Commission on Tuesday, September 15th at 5:00 p.m. at the Village Hall. An agenda will be posted to the website. The stormwater report is available below.
