Residents are invited to the 2026 Somers Fourth of July Parade. This year’s theme is “Happy 250th Birthday, America!”

Due to construction on the route, the Parade Committee wanted to provide parking updates.

The parking lot on the south side of Shoreland Lutheran High School along Highway E (12th Street) will be for staging and parade participants only. If you are participating, you will need to access the area from the west.

Public parking is available on the north side of the school. Access is from the north on Highway H (88th Avenue). There is also parking at Somers Elementary School.

Highway E will be closed from noon to 4 p.m. from 100th Avenue to Highway EA. Highway E will remain open at Green Bay Road.

If you plan to watch the parade, give way to the floats and be careful as part of the road surface is gravel. Stay alert and we apologize for any inconvenience.

The roadway work will be completed by the end of July.
